| Welcome to the home of Hill’s Acres and Green Gardens Nubian dairy goats. Green Gardens goats have always lived in Oklahoma and Hill’s Acres goats moved from Everett, Washington in January of 2003 when we purchased most of the Hill’s Acres herd from Don and Teresa Wade. They were the original owners and breeders of these beautiful Hill’s Acres Nubians and Benny and I are very honored to own them now. Our many thanks go to the Wade’s for letting us purchase 21 does and 1 buck from them. It is because of their wise breeding program and the outstanding herd maintenance that we now are very competitive in the show ring and our milk buckets are much fuller than before. Thank you again Don and Teresa. For more information on our history, go to the history page and also to www.hillsacresnubians.com.
We work very hard at maintaining a healthy herd and keeping our goats fit. All kids are raised on a CAE prevention program. Our does are truly working does as we milk year round, we are on DHIR standard milk test and many of our does reflect multiple generations of milk records. We were Linear appraised in 2004 and we show on a regular basis. Our goal is to have a very high quality dairy goat that proves themselves in the milking records, and in the show ring. We just completed our 2005 show season doing better than we ever have before. We have permanently championed four the bucks listed below, three Jr. does have won a GCH and one Sr. doe has won two GCH. Our last show of the spring was a grand finally. At that quad show in Duncan OK , our goats won 2 BIS, 8 GCHs, 6 RGCHs, 2 Jr CH Buck and 2 Jr RCH Buck. 2005 WINNINGS OF FINISHED BUCKS (ADGA PENDING) Goldthwaite Bonny's Black Tie *B, won 1 BIS, 1 GCH, 4 RGCH. Hill's Acres GXY Specl Delivry *B, won 1 GCH, 1 RGCH Green Gardens LRW Boutoniere *B, won 1 GCH Goldthwaite Black Wizard *B, won 2 BIS, 3 GCH - Pam |
